By creating a relationship between the surface geometry and the texture upon it, there is a fluid aesthetic effect. Multiple materials and and effects can be done through the exact same patterns. The specific application ideas tested for this project were water flow and light. The resin panels have been sanded and polished to different extents and so each resin panel is slightly different in the way light shines through. The Rockite and plaster panels were used to test water flow, using chalk powder as a means for mapping where the water tends to rest and where it tends to move.
